Agent Forlan denies meeting with Barcelona

Asked about the rumours saying that he was in Barcelona to meet with Barcelona sports director Txiki Begiristain yesterday (read more here), Daniel Bolotnicoff, the agent of Atlético Madrid forward and Uruguay international Diego Forlán (30), has denied in an interview with Catalan radio station Ona FM that there has been a meeting:

"I've came here because of personal reasons. If you say that I came to talk with Barcelona than you know more than me. Besides, I think they are trying to sign Villa."

Good news....

He is good striker but too old and expensive (for 36mil). Aguero will be a better signing than him for some more money.
If Eto'o go then sign Villa or Benzema. For LW Robinho will be the best choice since Rebery is close to sign for Real Mad.

Now ManU is trying for Aguero and they are ready to pay the 60mil buy out ( http://www.goal.com/en/news/9/england/2009/06/23/1343061/manchester-united-ready-to-pay-60-million-for-sergio-aguero )

Very strange of him to try and direct medias attention towards a rumored villa-interest.

If Ribery indeed prefers Real above Barça, than that could be a blessing in disguise. As Ribery will cost quite a lot of money aswell, i cant see Madrid (even them) pay another big chunk of money for the services of Villa. That would mean they will stop their attempt of signing Villa so Barça will have no competition from other clubs than Valencia to sign him.
I hope and i think the Barça board knows that Forlan is too expensive for his age.
