Catalan sports paper Sport claims that seven Juvenil A players will be promoted to Barcelona Atlètic next season:
central defender Marc Muniesa (17), left back defender Planas (18), defensive midfielder Oriol Romeu (17), midfielder Polaco (19), attacking midfielder Jonathan dos Santos (19 - picture), winger José Luis (18) and centre forward Rubén Rochina (18).
The paper claims that Barcelona manager Josep Guardiola is closely following Muniesa and Jonathan, the brother of former Barcelona player Giovani. Besides the seven mentioned players, three other players would start the pre-season with the B-team and might stay depending upon their performances: right back defender Martín Montoya (18), midfielder Maestre (18) and wing attacker Ilie (18).

hope Gio's younger brother has the patience n tries to break into the 1st team rather than trying something stupid like his big bro.
Ruben Rochina!! thats the one i want to watch..
a 182cm left footed CF at last from the youth team. we bought him from Valencia, and some say he is gooodd..
Described as a "true killer in the box".. thats what they say.. :)
And if you want to find out more about these great young players feel free to click on the link below the article Barcelona's Spanish U-17 Stars. Where i took a look at several of them.
Jonathan looks like Giovanni.. only taller in that pic.. lol
Oh btw in the U-17 article you can see video of munmiesa, planas, montoya and rochina
Jose Luis is a nice player. I saw one of the Juvenil A games and he was excellent.
Jonathan is great, hes more an attacking midfielder. Other good players are Romeu who already played some matches with the B side, just like Rochina.
Blah, we should have promoted Iago last year instead of buying 25 year olds. Didn't end up getting promoted to the 2nd division anyway. Now we're getting rid of the older rental players and bring up the youth, but lost a good one. Luis Enrique sucks for not getting to know the talent first before acting
Yeah iago was a bad loss. But has he done anything at juventus? I havent heard about him since. I know he was playing for the spanish natl yth teams.
with a name like Maestre you gotta be good!
I don't think Iago has got a single game at Juventus. Actually he was promiced to play with the A-Team a year later and maybe get a few games during the last season. He will be disappointed.
Nvertheless, Jonathan Dos Santos can not possibly be 19 yo. I recall ghe was 14 a year or two ago. I think he is 16 or 17 at the most.
Jonathan is born 26-04-90, so time runs fast....
Iago was a bad and very unesesary loss last year but it is good if they are giving this many youngsters the chanse next season...
