Barcelona has today officially announced the transfer of Bellinzona forward Ogude Elvis Onyema (22), who will play with Barcelona Atlètic in the third division next season.
Elvis Onyema signed a one-year deal. The Nigerian striker arrives from Swiss first division club Bellinzona, but has last season played on loan with Spanish third division club Ceuta.
Elvis Onyema is, after winger Edu Oriol, midfielder Luque, central defender Armando, central defender Iván, right back defender Sobregrau and forward Soriano the seventh signing of Barcelona Atlètic this summer.

Barça B: Luis Enrique still interested in Elvis
Catalan sports paper Sport claims that Barcelona is still interested in Nigerian forward Elvis Onyema Ogude (22) (read more here).
Elvis played last season for Spanish third division club Ceuta but was loaned out by Swiss first division club Bellinzona.
The agency that represents the striker would nevertheless also possess part of his transfer rights, although things aren't really clear. Barcelona would now want the agency and the Swiss club first to sort everything out so they know with whom they should deal. Barcelona Atlètic coach Luis Enrique would think that Elvis can act both as centre forward as on the wings.

Barça B: Elvis Onyema Ogude (Ceuta)
Catalan sports paper Sport claims that Barcelona is interested in Ceuta forward Elvis Onyema Ogude (22).
Barcelona, that would have been following Elvis Onyema for a couple of years now, hopes that a deal can be found in the coming days.
The Nigerian striker, whose one-year deal with Spanish third division club Ceuta expired last month, could become the fourth transfer of Barcelona Atlètic, after striker Edu Oriol, midfielder Luque and central defender Armando.
Several Spanish second and third division clubs would have tried to sign Elvis Onyema in the past months but Barcelona is expected to close a deal at the beginning of next week. Granada regional newspaper Granada Hoy claimed earlier this week that the striker was one step away from signing for Spanish third division club Granada before Barelona stepped in.
