Barcelona's medical staff has yesterday announced that Barcelona player Albert Jorquera (30) has broken the thumb of his right hand during yesterday's training session.
The Catalan goalkeeper underwent surgery today and is expected to be out for eight weeks. After one week of rest, Jorquera will be able to start the recovery.

Medical: Green light for Jorquera
Barcelona player Albert Jorquera (30) has received earlier today the green light from Barcelona's medical staff and will be available for the league game against Málaga tomorrow.
The Catalan goalkeeper sprained the external lateral ligament of his left ankle during a training session on Thursday 12 March and was then expected to be out for seven to ten days (read more here).

Medical: Jorquera out for at least one week
Barcelona's medical staff has announced today that Barcelona goalkeeper Albert Jorquera (30) has sprained the external lateral ligament of his left ankle during yesterday's training session.
The Catalan goalkeeper is expected to be out for seven to ten days. This would mean that he won't be available for the league game against Almería and possibly also for the one against Málaga.

Last Monday, Barcelona goalkeeper Albert jorquera (29) received the green light from the Barcelona medicall staff. After nine months, the goalkeeper is ready to play again.

Medical: Jorquera returning to group training
Barcelona goalkeeper Albert Jorquera (29), who is in the last phase of recovering from a knee injury, joined the group during yesterday's training session and trained at the same level as the others for the first time in nine months.
Jorquera got injured during a game with the Catalan national team at the end of December last year.
It is now expected that Jorquera, who has been the number two goalkeeper behind Víctor Váldes over the last years, will be given the green light by the medical services in the coming days whereafter he'll again be available for Barcelona manager Josep Guardiola.
