Melo is still an option to strengthen midfield

Inter, Juventus, Arsenal, Manchester City and Real Madrid would also be interested in melo, whose contract with Fiorentina expires in 2012 and whose transfer fee would at least be 20 million euro°.

would he cost less than hernanes? he has had liga experience with almeria under emery...would most likely be used as a sub for, primarily, xavi but also toure/busquets i think. may want to start though.

I really like Melo. His passning should be good enough for Barcelonas midfield. I think he could be a good choice if the first alternatives are impossible.

Due to very good Confederations cup games, I think Melo would cost at least 30 mil €. Fiorentina won't let him go easily as they are on verge on building a great squad and in few years should give a gd challenge on Scudetto if they continue on this course.
