Barcelona attacker Eidur Gudjohnsen (29) and Barcelona wing attacker Pedro (21) received this morning the green light from the Barcelona medical staff.
Both players were nevertheless not included in the match list for tomorrow's game against Málaga.
Gudjohnsen got injured during an international game with Iceland on wednesday 15 october (read more here). He had a slight tear in one of the hamstring muscles in the back of his left thigh.
Pedro got injured while training with the Spanish under-21 national team on wednesday 8 october (read more here). He suffered a fibrilar rupture in one of the hamstrings muscles in the back of his right thigh.

Medical: Gudjohnsen and Pedro join group training
Barcelona attacker and Iceland international Eidur Gudjohnsen (29) and Barcelona wing attacker and Spanish youth international Pedro (21), who are both recovering from a hamstring injury (read more here and here), have been training normally today with the first team players who weren't selected for the cup game against Benidorm tonight (Valdés, Márquez, Xavi, Iniesta and Messi).
Catalan sports paper Sport claims that Gudjohnsen will receive the green light of the Barcelona medical staff later this week, probably on Thursday. The attacker will then be available for the league game against Málaga next weekend.

Medical: Gudjohnsen out for three weeks
Further tests on Friday have shown that Barcelona attacker and Iceland international Eidur Gudjohnsen (29) has a tear of 2,5 centimetres in one of the hamstring muscles in the back of the thigh of his left leg.
Gudjohnsen got injured during Iceland's game against Macedonia on Wednesday (read more here). He will not be available for at least three weeks.

Medical: Gudjohnsen misses next two matches
Barcelona has officially announced that Barcelona attacker and Iceland international Eidur Gudjohnsen (29) came back injured from international duty.
Gudjohnsen has a slight tear in one of the hamstring muscles in the back of the thigh of his left leg.
Gudjohnsen will almost certainly miss the next two games, on Sunday against Athletic Bilbao and next week against Basel. On Friday he will undergo a further set of exams to determine precisely what is wrong and then start a recovery program.
Catalan sports paper Sport claims that Gudjohnsen will be out for at least one month.
