Asked about the new rumours linking him with a move to Barcelona (read more here), Manchester United central defender and Serbian international Nemanja Vidic (27) is quoted by British newspaper The Times as dismissing all the exit rumours:
"The first thing to say is that I have personally never said anything about Barcelona or Real Madrid or AC Milan or any club. It's other people speaking about it. I never speak about my future.
On Saturday, I showed at Wigan on the pitch by how I played how happy I am at this club. Anyone who is a fan of United or the players would only have to see how I played to know how committed I am to United. It's also not true that my wife is not happy in England. I don’t know how that rumour came out.
I spoke with my agent. I know about all the rumours about me, but I don't want it to have an impact on the club. It's not a good time for my club to be hearing those rumours. I'm here and I'm committed. I'll show that with how I play in matches. But I will never speak about my future and I will never talk about moving to other clubs."

Barcelona will try again for Vidic
British tabloid The Sunday Mirror claims that Barcelona will make another attempt to sign Manchester United central defender and Serbian international Nemanja Vidic (27) this summer.
Rumours that Vidic is unsettled in Manchester continue to circulate and Barcelona would still be hoping a deal can be sealed. Barcelona has reportedly been given encouragement by sources close to the player suggesting Vidic wants to leave because his wife Ana does not enjoy living in England.
Vidic, who has three years left on his contract and is currently out with a calf injury, remains a key player for Manchester United manager Alex Ferguson, but the emergence of Jonny Evans last season and the consistency of Rio Ferdinand could make the coach change his mind.
Barcelona would even have made it clear to Vidic's advisers that the club will try again during the winter transfer window next year if they fail to sign the Serbian centre-back this month. Italian clubs AC Milan and Inter Milan are also believed to be monitoring the situation of Vidic.

Vidic confirms Barcelona offer
Asked about rumours earlier this summer linking him with several European top clubs among which Barcelona (read more here), Manchester Untied central defender and Serbian international Nemanja Vidic (27) has confirmed in an interview with British tabloid The Sun that he received an offer from Barcelona but that he will continue in England next season:
"My wife Ana is unhappy with our lifestyle in Manchester but I am not going to change my mind as I am happy with the team and Manchester and the club's ambitions for next season.
I got offers from Milan, Barcelona and Real Madrid and I played a very honest game. I disclosed all these offers to my boss Sir Alex. He reacted quickly. I was told he was raising my pay to bring it to the level where my reputation is in the Premier League and Europe.
After Milan and Real Madrid made their offers, Barcelona came in. They wanted to pay 30 millions for my services but after Sir Alex's move, I am definitely staying in Manchester until my contract expires in 2012. People often forget that when you move from one country to another and from one league to another, you have to change your playing style. My style of play is now completely adjusted to the Premier League."

"I am very happy here and next season we will start again. I have got no desire to go anywhere. People forget that when you join a new league you don't just have to adjust to the country, you also have to adjust to the style of football.
I feel my game is well adjusted to England now and I want to play a part in a successful team next season. United can make it a record four titles in a row next year. I've also started to understand and love all the things you English love. Now I even love a bacon sandwich!"

Agents Vidic dismiss Barcelona rumours
Asked about the rumours linking Manchester United central defender and Serbian international Nemanja Vidic (27) with a move to Barcelona (read more here), the player's agent Paolo Fabbri said in an interview with British sports site Setanta that the player won't leave this summer:
"Nemanja Vidic will stay in Manchester. I don't think we will have any surprises in the short term. We are not planning to move. This week, on Monday and Tuesday, we were at Manchester United to speak with David Gill, for other reasons, but we also spoke about Vidic.
Vidic is supposed to stay there. A move is not possible unless some Arab makes a crazy offer! But in a normal situation, Nemanja will stay there. Barcelona and many other teams can be interested in Vidic - that is another story. Three or four Italian teams would be pleased to have the player. But he is under contract. His deal has been already extended until 2012."
Another agent of the Serbian defender, Silvano Martina, said the same in an interview with Italian sports site 24 Ore di Sport: "No, there's no chance that Vidic leaves Manchester. Despite losing the Champions League final, he is at a great club with a lot of ambition, that has reached the final of the greatest European competition for two consecutive years now. This season, he also won the Premier League."

Barcelona looking to sign Vidic this summer
British tabloid The Daily Mail claims that Barcelona is preparing a 29 million euro° bid for Manchester United central defender and Serbian international Nemanja Vidic (27).
With his wife Ana struggling to settle in Manchester and keen on moving away from the city to a better climate, Vidic is said to feel that Manchester United is the best place for his football career but would be worried about the strain which could be placed upon that if his wife remains unhappy.
Barcelona would hope to capitalise on the player's situation and tempt him away with the benefits of a new environment (read more here).
The English champions plan to resist all offers for the centre-back, who is vital to their plans and hugely popular with staff and fans, but club insiders say they recognise there could be a problem. AC Milan would also be interested in the Serbian defender.
