Catalan sports paper El Mundo Deportivo claims that Deportivo La Coruña left back defender Filipe Luis (23) is expected to travel to Barcelona on Monday.
It is believed that Barcelona sports director Txiki Begiristain and Barcelona director of football Raúl Sanllehí and Deportivo president Augusto César Lendoiro will find a deal on the transfer in the coming days.
Filipe would then undergo the medical tests and sign a five-year contract on Monday and be presented the next day.

Real valencia has an agreement in which Villa transfered to real to an undisclosed amount next year
Hallelujia a signing. Keirrison is close to barca too. CELEBRATION TIME
gr8... lets keep it going.
What is the source for the Villa transfer? And I heard that Keirrison will only come as a part of the Villa transfer. I wouldn´t want him as I prefer Bojan as backup striker, and certaintly we wouldn´t start Keirrison.
does that mean Zhikov isnt an option anymore?
Zhikov is heading your way nou. Will be off to london in a few days from what i hear.
Pep, ex-barca saviola has left real madrid and joined benfica for 5 million euros
oh cool hes gonna be good. i watch him in depor, hes quality. very nice signing. and abt villa i'm pissed at wahts going on. i very much want him to be in barca (a dream cos hes a long time fav) but not when valencia forces us to go into stupid decisions like this, so annoying, lets just drop him and go after someone else.
We missed Arsh and now Zhikov.. let forgive the Russians if we have anything against them..lol..
Here come the transfers now that the renewals are done, and we know what we need to do as far as the 9 goes.
Zhirkov was always joining Chelski, so I never got too excited about that one. We were never going to pay his salary, just like with Srna. They are paid VERY well in the Eastern Bloc.
Filipe was voted the best LB in La Liga so that is good enough for me. He knows the league and the language. He should integrate quickly to our style as a Brazilian.
To Sashi from the earlier question
I do thing it could be henry but bojan could also do that position.I think villa will sign though barca wouldnt sell Eto with out buying someone new.I no puyol can cover alves but what happens when all the backs are injured are banned and plus puyol is one of the best options for cb so I think it is safe to get back up as alves is quite hot tempered.
I said filipe luis for Lb as he realy wants to sign for barca.sashi do you think this could happen? Its just my opinion.
