Cesc wants to start winning titles

Asked about a rumour linking him with a move to Spain (read more here), Arsenal midfielder and Spanish international Cesc Fàbregas (22) has said in an interview with British tabloid The Sun that it would be difficult for him to choose between Barcelona and Real Madrid:

"At the moment it's not happened so I don't have to choose. For any player it gives great pride that those two clubs come to sign him. It would be a difficult choice.

Of course my family would understand if I signed for Real Madrid because they love me, they want me to be happy and what is best for me. They'd support me, whichever club I joined. My family will always be there for me, whatever decision I make. They're the ones who are always by my side.

The absence of titles at Arsenal is what angers me the most, seeing the impotence. This year we wanted it, we were giving everything - but we couldn't reach the level that everyone expected of Arsenal. When you win, you're well. But when you don't, everyone is in a bad mood. For four years now, we've needed a title to regain our belief in ourselves.

I will never force my way out by publicly declaring his desire to leave. It's not the way I am. If I have to say I want to leave I will do it face to face. If one day I'm not happy, I am the first who will tell the manager. I admire Arsene Wenger but each of us has his own life and looks after his own interests."

he wants to leave so much he would not be the trader if he went to madrid barca would be the trader for selling him a few years ago and not signing him now.I hope we sign him!!!!!!

a cule would never say that. a professional footballer who is only interested in money would. fast losing all my respect for cesc. playing in EPL has changed him, just look at the spitting thing with brian horton last season, thats not what we expect from a cantera player.
if he wants to go to madrid then fair enough, he''l be anoter big money buy that doesn't surpass what we have already. cesc may have been the future but xavi is very much the present.

"It would be a difficult choice."
As Catalan it is never a difficult choice between Barca und Real.
There´s only one choice...

irish do you know anything about football? barca did not sell him, he left on his own. players under the age of 18 cannot sign a professional contract in spain.

cesc is really starting to piss me off, all he does is talk talk talk and all that comes out his mouth is the same thing, we should forget about him cantera or not. everyone is dedicated and turned away madrid in a heartbeat but he seems to want to go there more than barca. he thinks he too big now

I read about fabregas :arsenal asks 52 million for him.only madrid wants to pay that kind of money. he said his family wouldn't object if he went to madrid.. Actually i don't really like him. It seems to me he's got this arrogance over him. he sure can play football but to me he isn't half the player iniesta and xavi are!

It's hard to like him when he say things like this. Also he's been worthless in Confederations, and it's been very clear that Xavi is many levels above him at the moment.

Barcelona was convicing him to stay in a very difficult time for our club but he left like a rat. He is not a true culé because this is not the first time he hints that he is open to move to Real Madrid. The extreme was the picture with a Real Madrid shirt for AS...

It's not fair to compare Xavi and Cesc. Cesc is much younger and has a lot to learn.

A true cule wouldnt find that a hard choice..

Waste of money. He cant get into the starting 11 now (Xavi/Iniesta), and it is way to much to spend on a back-up.

Once Xavi is over the hill. Thiago or another youngster will be ready to take over, but thats another 4-5 years from now

i dont believe that a player that played in barcelona youth system says its a tough choice between real and barca.its preposteous,we should never give any money for his return.see the differances from pique, the player doesnt love the team or else he would tell i will only go to barca, also if it is money he was after and was a barca fan he could choose chelsea or man city but he wants to go to real...... go cesc you are not welcome to barca

if thats true, then you (Cesc) are traitor, we don't need you here!!!

Cesc chose money instead of Barca six years ago so he might do it again. But its obvious that he is keen on returning to Barca, at least some of his interviews indicate that. But he doesnt have guts to request Arsenal exit publicly. Making him a captain was a clever move by Wenger, now he is expected to be more loyal to the club. Xavi is 29 and he wont play forever, soon its time to seek a true heir for him. I am sure that Sandro Rosell tries to bring him back next year as part of his presidential campaign

i'm disappointed: madrid OR barca? he can't choose? hmmm... it totally changed my view

if he had been my family I would be ashamed, how can that silly little traitor say that. Go to Real and leave us alone, Xavi and iniesta are miles better anyway...
