Medical: Season over for Victor Sanchez

Barcelona's medical staff has earlier today announced that Barcelona player Víctor Sánchez (21) has broken the first metacarpal bone of his left hand during yesterday's league game against Osasuna.

Víctor Sánchez, who was replaced by Jeffren twenty minutes before the end of the match, will undergo surgery on Monday and is expected to be out for the next four weeks, which means that he will miss the Champions League final against Manchester United and the league game against Deportivo and that his season has ended.

Medical: Green light for Victor Sanchez

Barcelona player Víctor Sánchez (21) has received earlier today the green light from the Barcelona medical staff and will be available for the cup match against Espanyol tomorrow.

The Catalan, who has been training with the squad for a week, got injured during a training session on Wednesday 7 January and was then expected to be out for seven to ten days (read more here).

Medical: Victor Sanchez returns to training

Barcelona player Víctor Sánchez (21), who is recovering from a right thigh injury (read more here), returned to training yesterday.

Over the past two days, he has been doing specific recovery exercises apart from the group.

Víctor Sánchez got injured during a training session on Wednesday 7 January and was then expected to be out for seven to ten days.

Barcelona's medical staff has announced that Barcelona polyvalent midfielder Víctor Sánchez (21) has suffered a 0,5 centimetre rupture of the sartorius muscle at the back of his right thigh during Wednesday's training session.

The Catalan player will be out for seven to ten day and won't therefore be available for the Sunday league game against Osasuna.
