According to Catalan paper Sport, Barcelona midfielder and Argentinian international Lionel Messi (22) along with Barcelona right back and Brazilian international Dani Alves (26) both suffered injury scares today while training in Seattle.
Messi would have been in an accidental collision with Barcelona goalkeeper Jose Manuel Pinto (33) and required assistance from the medical staff. Fortunately, after bandages were applied to his right instep, Messi was able to continue exercising reguarly.
Dani Alves would have also suffered a fall and required treatment on his right hand. He too was able to resume training after being bandaged.

Medical: Season over for Dani Alves
Barcelona's medical staff has yesterday announced that Barcelona player Dani Alves (26) has sprained his right foot during yesterday's training session.
Alves is expected to be out for the next three weeks, which means that he will miss the league games against Osasuna and Deportivo and that his season has ended.

Medical: Alves could be fit for next Liga game
Catalan sports paper El Mundo Deportivo claims that Barcelona hopes that right back defender and Brazilian international Daniel Alves (25) will return as soon as possible from Brazil so he can recover from his injury in Barcelona.
The paper claims that Alves could have suffered the injury during the Champions League game against Shakhtar Donetsk last Wednesday. Barcelona hopes the right back can be fit for the next league game against Athletic Bilbao in two weeks.

Medical: Seriousness of Alves injury uncertain
Barcelona right back defender and Brazilian international Daniel Alves (25) was at the last minute left out of the match list yesterday because of some muscle troubles.
Catalan sports paper Sport claims that Alves has problems at his quadriceps, the muscles on the front of the thigh.
Catalan sports paper El Mundo Deportivo claims that it's still uncertain if Alves will be able to participate in the World Cup qualfying matches with the Brazilian national team during the coming two weeks.
