Messi could miss first league game

Speaking to Argentinian sports channel TyC Sports, Barcelona player Lionel Mesi has said that he could miss Barcelon's first league game because of a game with his national team:

"On 28 August, I will play the European Super Cup, there's no doubt about that. The problem is the next game. That's why I've already talked with Pep and Diego Maradona, to see if I can travel to Argenina immediately after the game against Shakhtar.

Luckily, Pep is a very intelligent person and we have a great relationship. We still need to sit down and talk to see what is the best for all parties."
