Trezeguet to stay in Italy

Asked about the rumours linking Juventus forward David Trezeguet (30) with a summer move to Barcelona (read more here), the player's agent Antonio Caliendo has said in an interview with Italian radio station Teleradiostereo that he doesn't see the transfer of the French striker go through:

"I don't see it very possible that Juventus will let David leave, even if Barcelona would keep insisting. I think that Juventus would possibly take into consideration an offer of at least 30 million euro° but I don't know how much Barcelona is prepared to pay. I have signed a four-year contract to represent David and I know he would like to stay at Juventus."

Chivu unlikely but not impossible

Asked about the rumours linking the player with Barcelona (read more here), Ioan Becali, the agent of Inter Milan central defender and Romanian international Cristian Chivu (27) , did not rule out a move in an interview with Italian radio station Teleradiostereo:

"Chivu has just won the league and he enjoyed a great season with Inter, so it’s unlikely he will leave. And Chivu is a player which Mourinho likes a lot which makes me think that the Inter wouldn’t want to let him go either. However, in football, you can never say never and if Barcelona put down a 20 million euro° offer, then we would open talks with them."

Huntelaar agent invites Barcelona

Vincenzo Morabito, the agent of Ajax Amsterdam forward Klaas-Jan Huntelaar (24), has said in an interview with Italian radio station Teleradiostereo that Real Madrid is interested in the Dutch international but that he expects Barcelona could also make a move: "The entourage of Huntelaar prefers a call from Spain. Real Madrid has made a first official step cause they think he could be the successor of Van Nistelrooij. But we must also take into account Barcelona, who are planning to carry out a revolution in the summer, with a lot of changes building a team around Messi."

Formal offer for Hleb

Vincenzo Morabito, the agent of Arsenal midfielder and Belarusian international Aleksandr Hleb (27), has said in an interview with Italian radio station Teleradiostereo that Barcelona has submitted to Arsenal an important bid for the player: "There is a formal offer of Barcelona for Hleb. Barcelona likes the player a lot and already made a first approach back in February."

The agent suggests that Barcelona is leading the race for the player: "In Italy, Inter is the club who wants him the most, which proves the value of a player like Hleb. He is not always recognized like other players but he has a very important role in the team. If Inter wants the player, they will nevertheless have to speed up, cause at this moment Barcelona has a serious advantage."

Hleb has a contract with Arsenal until 2010 and it is expected that he could leave for a transfer price of around 15 million euro°.

Catalan sports paper El Mundo Deportivo claims that the agents of Hleb will start talking with Arsenal about the player's future in the coming days. Barcelona could know by the end of the week if Arsenal is willing to sell the player and to accept Barcelona's offer for Hleb, who could become the first signing for the new season.
