Barcelona has announced that the team will play the third game of the American tour in San Francisco against Mexican league team Chivas.
The pre-season match will be played on Sunday 9 August (8 August, 8 pm local time) at Candlestick Park, the stadium of American football team San Francisco 49ers.
Two and a half hours before the start of the game, MLS teams Columbus Crew and San José Earthquakes will play a game at the same stadium.

Woohoo..Barça in the Bay Area!
There isn't baseball at Candlestick Park anymore (that aerial photo is at least ten years old) which is one benefit the Stick has over the Oakland Coliseum.
I think the San Jose-Columbus opener is a MLS league game (not a friendly) which will allow the Earthquakes to inflate their league attendance numbers (60,000 fans at an MLS match!)
In SF too?...Wow...And, of course, I won't even be in the country for it...Sucks
I am wondering how they intend to play over a baseball field...Are they bringing in grass?
I will be at the game in LA on August 1st and this one. If anyone from Pep's Blog want to get together for a drink before the game, let me know.
