Toure could sign renewal this week

Asked about the contract renewal of Barcelona defensive midfielder and Ivorian international Yaya Touré (26) (read more here), the players agent Dmitri Seluk has said in an interview with Catalan sports paper Sport that the new contract could be signed this week:

"Touré is very happy at Barça and in the city of Barcelona. The atmosphere is excellent and the team is wonderful, so that is why we would like to continue here and we might reach a final agreement this week."

Finally good news....I thought we could lose Yaya which would've seriously weakened our team. Now get if we get our hands on Villa we should go for a winger and a leftback. My own recommendation would be Ashley Young (be realistic we can't afford both Villa and Ribery) cause he's two footed and has massive potential and Zhirkov. Get rid of Hleb and Guddy and get some decent squad players.

gr8 news. get it done soon.
Young is a decent option but would start off a bidding war with Chelsea who are already trying to get him. and its doubtful if he would leave England even though its Barca as he is starting to establish his position in the National team and doesn't wanna take much risk at the start of his international career.

what about Young's partner, Agbonlahor, is he still as good as his start? why isn't any club bidding for him?

hope this is true. one of our most important players.

agbonlahor did really well at the beginning of the season but something happened and his form disappeared, got so bad the villa fans were booing him by the end of the season.
