The report of Txiki (1) : Three or four transfers

Catalan sports paper Sport reports that Barcelona sports director Txiki Begiristain presented the board on Thursday a report about the current transfer market.

The club reportedly wants to sign three or four players but is at this moment waiting for the market to cool off or for the money Madrid paid for Kaká and Cristiano Ronaldo to start moving. Txiki nevertheless wants to have finalized the squad before Barcelona plays the Spanish Super cup mid-August.

The Basque sports director also informed the board case-by-case about the negotiations. Later today, we'll go through the report.

And no need to put goal.com articles, we are monitoring the site.

More like insider = Txiki's assistant or someone else's assistant.

As furymaker says, no matter. As long as we got something moving. Guess if the board agree to the prices, things must be at the last stage of discussion. Only waiting for the funds to be available and their approval. Hopefully.

I agree Fury... it would be great if we can at least sign one of these players

Ok Pep
Now its just matter of time when will barca buy another player , i hope this Mascherano "buy" doesnt mean that Yaya is leaving , I would like to see that yaya stay and we get mascherano , also etoo to stay but his choice , if he leaves we MUST get strike like Villa .

i really wonder where barca is planning to play mascherano... there are already toure, keita, busquets fighting for taht position.. somebody plz clear this up for me...

I'm sure there will be plenty of games to go around, and when african cup comes he's fulltime. I really don't see mascherano complaining he will play plenty.

The hard part is getting him Now that Madrid Want there greedy hands on every person we want.

And whatsup with Valencia saying yesterday Villa is not for sale, and NOw they trying to push him to chelsea. Valencia Prez= EPIC FAIL

Thank you :-)

One of two things might be going thru valencia's prez mind when he says Villa is now not for sale.

1) Hoping Chelski make a higher bid and/or by saying Villa might relent about going to the EPL, maybe trying to entice MU and MC to join in.

2) He sincerely does not want to strengthen Valencia's direct rivals in the Liga.
