Barcelona is still interested in Bruno Alves

Portuguese sports paper A Bola claims that Barcelona is still trying to sign Porto central defender and Portuguese international Bruno Alves (27).

It is generally believed that Alves, who has a buyout clause of 30 million euro°, will leave the Portuguese champions this summer, although the fact that he is represented by Jorge Mendes, who's also the agent of Inter Milan manager José Mourinho, makes it at this point more likely that he will end up in Italy.

Any news on Ribery ?

All i hear is Ribery linked to Real Madrid and Chelsea. What happened to The Barca-Ribery link ?
Any word on it ?

As for the Defenders ....i feel buying a good cheap CB is a necessity as Milito is out injured again. Sending Caceres on loan also is a good idea. Get back Henrique to replace Caceres.

He made one terrible mistake but that doesn't mean he sucks. Every player makes at least one horrible mistake in the career. Bruno Alves is pretty decent and no one can beat him in the air, even if you're Peter Crouch. He also provides a threat going forward in set-pieces.
