Catalan sports paper El Mundo Deportivo claims that Barcelona is interested in Hamburg left back defender and German international Marcell Jansen (23).
Jansen signed last summer a five-year contract with Hamburg after having played one year for Bayern Munich.
The other main names on the list to strengthen the left back position and to replace Sylvinho, whose expiring contract won't be renewed, are at this moment AS Roma left back defender and Norway international John Arne Riise (28) and Deportivo La Coruña left back defender Filipe Luís (23).

can someone please tel me whether we r planning to buy ribery or we r content with seeing him play against us in the clasico.
jansen is very talented but he can´t make it in barca...he played for munich but they sold him because he was only talented and couldn`t handle the big task they gave him..but i`m sure in 2-3 years he could have what it takes bit not now!

I mean: we don't know how many transfers that will be made, for which positions, and it also doesn't only depend on Guardiola. It's not because he wants a player, we will be able to sign him.

Nothing against germans,but we really don't need Jansen (or even Lahm)...there are better options available
He can play at LB and LM I think. If we can sign him for around 10m it would be a good pickup. Very simalar to Sylvinho.
Pep, an idea for Leo10's idea, players could start with 10 points and when you lock in your first guess's nothing happens, however when you change ur original guess's you lose a point.
