Barcelona's medical staff has confirmed after further medical tests on Monday that Barcelona player Gerard Pique (22) has torn the adductor muscle in his left thigh during Saturday's league game against Deportivo (read more here).
Piqé, who was replaced by Botía after one hour of play, is expected to be out for ten to fifteen days. Barcelona's medical staff has contacted the doctors of the Spanish Football Federation to discuss the recovery of the injury of Piqué, who has been called-up to play the Confederations cup with Spain later this month.
