Catalan sports paper Sport claims that Barcelona is interested in Mallorca midfielder and Atlético Madrid loan out José Manuel Jurado (22).
Barcelona wants to add another midfielder to the squad. Jurado is in that perspective an option that is being looked at, although it hasn't yet been decided if they will move for the Spanish player this summer.

For the midfield, I hope Barça considers 2 players from Huracan who read about recently. Javier Pastore and De Frederico.

Both these players seem brilliant, de Frederico is being touted as the new Messi (the new Messi, everyone hear? they dont say the new Maradona anymore :) ).
Huracan are just 2 points of the top of the Clausura are noted for playing "Beautiful Football" by commentators. Here is a video of their performance against Lanus (top in the Clausura, atm).

...fist riise and now jurado...what the hell is going on with the board...riise was last time good before 5 years,but now?...really,to think even about him is ridiculous...showed little at roma...and jurado...he's good for the b-team,but never for the first...want to hear names like silva,ribery,etc and not that kind of s***...don't want to say that we need stars...but a little garanty should be a must...no experiments...like caceres or hleb,godamnit...but this aren't even experiments...this is suicide...
If we want an up and coming midfielder buy JAVI MARTINEZ! He is a brilliant talent in the Xavi mould and we can buy him cheaply for around $10 million.

For midfield I think we should get either Hamsik for 15-25mil and if Eto'o leaves, we should either get Villa or play Henry up front and get Tevez for left wing.Also we should get Santon for left back.
...at goal-com is written that barca is very,very close to sign ibra in an eventually exchange of etoo...all i can say is that i'm very disappointed and think barca betrayed themselves with this...never thought that we would play those games and bring players with such an overprized salary to our club...if this is really true...i think a piece of our philosophy we followed since some time will die with this transfer...hope that this is just papertalk...otherwise it will leave a bitter taste on my,whatever happens,unconditional loyalty for our club...
I would still rather not lose Eto'o next year for free. Seems like he was very willing to let that happen. Regardless of what happens here, I hope we sign a left winger.
