Catalan sports paper El Mundo Deportivo claims that Barcelona officials has asked Bayern Munich representatives about the situation of Bayern Munich forward and Italian international Luca Toni (31) and Bayern Munich winger and French international Franck Ribéry (25).
Barcelona wanted to begin the talks by offering 18 million euro° for Toni and 25 million euro° for Ribéry. Bayern immediately made clear that it was impossible to start negotiations since both players, who signed last summer, are considered to be key figures in the German team.

That would be the most ridiculous bid I've ever seen this year. Bayern Munchen just bought these duo last year and no way the club gonna let other club buy these two players.

A year too late... they should think about Ribery last year when he was available. Instead chasing old&used Henry for a fee of 30 million euro they could've buy Ribery+Van der Vaart for that sum of money. That's the main reason of the two trophyless seasons. I think Giovani will develop into a player like Ribery but he's going away. I just asking myself who's next: Krkic, Assulin... Pity.
