Barcelona looking for a club for Keirrison

Catalan sports paper Sport claims that Barcelona is looking for a club for Palmeiras forward Keirrison (20).

The deal on the transfer would have been closed, although not yet officially announced, and Barcelona wants the player to leave on loan for one season to gain experience and then return to Barcelona next year.

Barcelona's first option was to try to include the Brazilian striker in transfer deals with Valencia (Villa), Atlético Madrid (Forlán) or Porto (Bruno Alves), but with the transfer of Ibrahimovic close and the possible stay of Henrique, this now seem less likely.

Barcelona is still looking to sign a midfielder and could try to offer Keirrison in that deal. If that doesn't go through either, the club wants to send him out on loan to a Spanish club, something Keirrison would personally prefer, or to another European club that will take part in the Champions League or the Uefa Cup and will give the striker playing time. Atlético Madrid would still be intrested in keirrison.

Although i think we might need another striker/attacking player in our squad. For his development this could be better than warming the bench.

BTW, is it me, or does anybody else think Bojan is a bit overrated. The guy is talented, but i've got a feeling he's missing something to become a barca first-team certitude.

I believe Bojan needs to play more often to show his skills.

I hope Keirrison goes to a spanish club on loan.

wth....

how about we first SIGN him and then try to loan him out.

@anon: thats what Sport is claiming, that we've signed him except we're not announcing yet cos he could be loaned out in exchange for a player we need. i guess its best to hush things up till a deal is on the table. would be amusing if there's a big to do for him then he's traded days later.

I don't understand why we should wait to announce the signing until we can include him in another deal. What's the logic of that? It's not gonna change anything (if we already signed him) to annouce it. All very weird. The guy is now almost training on his own for one entire month, what must he be thinking...

Will "generous" Barca be paying his salary too while loaning him out as claimed in Italy for Helb?

I thought a loan deal means we "lend" another team our player while they took care of everything including salary for that loan duration.

I think we should take a small risk and go and get Adriano.. When he's at his best, he's damn good.

RM will have at least four useful strikers so why we should have only Zlatan if Henry plays again as a winger? Bojan is not good enough so it would be stupid to count on him if Barca wants win trophies also in the future. Playing Bojan should not automatically mean that the team drops points. Bojan should leave on loan not Keirrison. By keeping Keirrison Barca would have two totally different CFs and therefore more attacking options; a tall busbreaker & a fast and clinical finisher

Loan him to Ajax and hopefully can get Luis Suarez in return.

Keirrison is far from clinical Dolce. He needs 10 chances to score.
