Secret bonus for Zlatan?

Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet claims Inter Milan striker and Swedish international Zlatan Ibrahimovic (27) will earn guaranteed yearly wages of 12 million euros should he transfer to Barcelona, thanks to a secret bonus amounting to 3 million euros per year in his contract with Barcelona. In that way he will get the same salary as he did at Inter.

Zlatan's contract at Inter would have guaranteed him 12 million euros net per year.

Other sources meanwhile, have claimed Ibrahimovic will only be guaranteed 9 million euros per year. (read more here)

"FC Barcelona Blog: Barça Transfer Zone
All the rumours, all the facts"

That's the name of the blog. All the RUMOURS as well. You do not have to believe them. Stop bashing the new editor team, they are doing as good a job as pep.

I agree with guys, this is no longer a reliable blog as it was before.the new editor team is pretty much in pushing panic button.in this way they are responsible for dividing cules.I have read some of the comments in this blog.it's shocking they way it encourages the followers to attack each other personally.racism is way too much here.

There's no need to bash the new editor team, rumours are part of football,if you only take official stuff there's not much to read...and besides, you don't have to believe everything that these tabloids write

The blog cites the source of the rumors and speculation. You should never take any headline you read literally.

Notice I didn't use a statement, I questioned the validity of the source myself. I also put a link to the other reports & sources.

And Pep still posts the majority of the content on this blog. The new blog team has not changed the format of the blog.

We do not encourage racism, or personal attacks. We try to let people discuss and disagree but we try to delete comments with racism and personal attacks.

I think the best way for the new team, as they are a few of them working in shifts I'm told, can write in a few lines of what they thought about the rumour so as not to be accused rumour-mongers themselves. It doesn't have to be elaborate for eg. A last para that states "As this report has not been published by other sites, this blog editor have reservation about its authenticity". Just a suggestion.

And it may give this resurrected blog a new twist.

I like the photo. It could happen again in the next CL final lol.

@buj,

I think that's why Pep set up the format he did. Nothing is confirmed unless it's confirmed. That's why we use the form 'claims' and 'would have'.

Posting a disclaimer is a bit redundant as the whole post suggests that this is an unconfirmed rumor. From the title, to the last part where I cited other sources which contradicts this report.

i heard he will earn 9m per year, according to spanish press.

hey guys keirrison's interview is published in sport.es.can u do us a favor by posting it in english here :)

The new team is doing great. Just use you're brain for half a second to read what the source is and then judge it for yourself. If you really don't want to think for yourself then you don't need to visit this or almost any other site. Just head to fcbarcelona.cat.

Seriously, I think the new guys are doing a good job. They're pulling things from a lot of places and they get the stuff posted quickly. Thanks.

i say we give him a 9m a year deal for the first season since hes never played in Spain and will not be as productive, after this season, if he impresses, raise wages to 12m or higher if need be.

Don't Ibra's wages need to be limited because Messi has to remain the highest paid player on the squad after all is said and done?

If the Sun says Eto'o wants 12 millions, you blame Eto'o for being greedy. If The Swedish Sun says Zlatan wants 12 millions, you blame the tabloid.

Not very lgical....

If Eto'o is the greedy king of Africa, he must be the greedy emperor of Europe... ;)

Keep up the good work, the new editor team. Don't mind some of the comments. This is a site for rumors. If you want factors, just read the FCB offical page, no need to come here.

get sick of this spammer, it ain't difficult to realize, that maric, pizzaro and the anony after is always the same person, the same, who called himself noubarca, joking on sho, the same, who spammed yesterday and the day before.
man, this guy must be really desperate to take so much time to publish this nonsens, trying to bring disturbance here on this blog.
please, as so far, all we can do at the moment, is to ignore this foolish talk, as i do already

engelin said...

Don't ever, ever, ever trust that paper. It is just bullshit.
I am from Sweden so I know what that paper is all about.
Let's think straight at it, what can Aftonbladet really know? Zlatan don't have a Swedish aagent who leaks to the press, or have some friends at Aftonbladet, niether is Aftonbladet a rich enough paper to have journalists down in Barcelona with inside knowledge - witch Sport and MD automaticly have.

So it does not mather what the news is, if it is from Aftonbladet, just ignore it.

the new team and pep are doing a great job, if your offended by rumours then only read the posts with a big OFFICIAL on them. during the transfer market football is 90% rumour 10% fact.
keep up the good work guys, rumours 'n' all!
