Asturias regional newspaper El Comercio claims that Sporting Gijón is interested in Barcelona Atlétic central defender and Spanish youth international Alberto Botía (20).
Sporting would like to sign the Spanish player on loan and hopes that Barcelona Atlètic coach and former Sporting player Luis Enrique can help to reach an agreement.

That would be good. You know with Gijon, he will always be on his toes lol. Although I want to see him in preseason a bit.

Pep should consider Muniesa on a loan to another club. Maybe a english club. Botia is great young prospect. I think this will be a good move.
We just had Pique leave and paid 5 million to get him back. Let's at least try to not help them by giving them our prospects.
If he doesn't adapt well there then we've just wasted his time. If he does well there then English clubs will just want to sign him and they can offer bigger contracts because of his age.
