Former Barcelona forward Jordi Cruijff (35) has signed earlier this week a three-year deal with Maltese club Valletta, where he will act both as player and as assistant coach.
Cruijff had been without a club since his contract at Ukrainian club Metalurh Donetsk expired at the end of last year.
Jordi Cruijff came through Barcelona's youth ranks and played two seasons for the first team, that was then coached by his father Johan Cruijff. In the summer of 1996, he left for English Premier League club Manchester United. With Barcelona, Cruijff won one Spanish league title in 1994 and one Spanish super cup in 1994.

He is still playing?!!
Why not, he's just 35 .. :D
He had talent, but I think he buckled under the pressure of being Johan's son. Too bad he never really made his mark.
Good luck.
i wonder why he left no mark in the team just like his father did
