Barça B: Edu Oriol will sign for two years

Spanish third division club Sant Andreu officially announced yesterday that Sant Andreu attacker Eduardo Oriol García (22) will leave the club this summer and join Barcelona Atlètic.

Catalan sports paper El Mundo Deportivo, who says that Edu Oriol can play both in midfield as on the wings, claims that the Catalan player will soon sign a two-year contract with Barcelona (read more here).

what is the sense in joining barca's youth system at 22 and he looks kinda young like 17yrs old in the pic. more info plz

Marc4barca: Barca B isn't really a youth team, just a reserve squad. Goran Maric is 25, Xavi Torres is 22, Abraham is 23, David Corcoles is 24. There are certainly younger players on it (18 and 19 year olds) but it isn't STRICTLY a youth team.

yep, a lot of players are there just to help the real prospects to develop. You can't have a team made of 25 teenagers at that level.
