Barcelona will probably return to US next year

Spanish news agency EFE claims that Barcelona will most probably return to the United States for a new summer tour next year.

Some of the sponshorship deals Barcelona has been negotiating during the past tour were related to the sponsoring of new summer tours in the United States, and everything would indicate that Barcelona will already return to the US next summer.

Unrelated to this story, but check it out: http://www.goal.com/en/news/12/spain/2009/08/13/1437301/rafael-van-der-vaart-could-exit-real-madrid-for-nothing

Excellent alternative to Cesc if he can really leave for free.

Van der Vaart is simply rubbish. Not Barca material. We can thank Real they signed him before we could think of it.

Play DC! I'd love to see Barca again without having to drive nine hours one way this time.

Bring them to Miami. Lots of Barcelona natives and descendants live there and a penya exists there too.

thats what i was affraid of : the world cup factor!! many players in the team will be much more concerned with world cup and will manage to arrrive at the top of their form in june. Zidane did it in madrid in 2006 : 0 from september to may (just as the rest of the team) and in june :SUUUUURPRIIIIIIISE ,they guy was the best player in the world cup, he admitted after the world cup that he managed to arrive to his best form in june for the world cup

i doubt if van der vaart would be persuaded to come assuming pep wants him which is highly unlikely seeing as there's still a bit of bad blood between him and ibra cos of what happened before at ajax.

ps nice pic pep :) am just hoping barca wont skip asia next year cos of these commitments. its a huge and equally market. maybe more so cos of its growing afffluence + asians are mad about football. its like a captive market less effort is needed in terms of mktg and stuff.
