He can only hope... and that hope will die. :)

The hope is all you can get at Real Madrid.

Keep on dreaming...

Kaka = epic downfall. Lost my respect for him.

SJP said...

i agree with above, never had him down as a mercenary sell-out, really, really hope hi mediocre form of the last two seasons continues in la liga, welcome to messi's shadow!

Anonymous said...

Yes indeed SJP! Let Messi show him what it is to be World Footballer Of The Year!

hopes and dreams dont work, kaka. you might need to put those tall words into action as well. which you wont be able to.

and who is he to comment anyway? from one failure club to another. kaka's career is an epic fail. ive seen a comment on goal.com in which some crazed madrid fan said kaka is more loved than messi. lol, the guy must have been drunk when he said it.

well meet kaka in the clasico, if he has not been injured already...then he will see what football is.

sorry, i know im ranting, but this guy really deserves his words shoved up his *cough cough*

i like Kaka very much. wished he joined Barca. for all u guys who say they've lost their respect for Kaka, just think again. the guy said tat he would never leave Milan forever. it wasn't his decision to leave now. he was forced to help Milan financially by agreeing to their decision to sell him. he has told even today tat even though his professional life with Milan is over, his sentimental attachment with Milan would never end. the guy is just tooo good to be at Madrid.

having said tat,i hope here after, he would only face the wrath of Barca n would feel very bad for having to choose Madrid and would've been happier had he gone to Man City. Hoping u face ur worst fear during the El Classico. no more luck Kaka.

Sashi, please dont believe that kind of crap coming out of his mouth. He has gone for the money, if he really would have wanted to stay he did. Just listen to what Berlusconi and co said: "Kaka's move is up to him and up to him only." His departure from Milan shows lack of respect towards Milan. Milan were forced to lose their star player although they preferred to keep him.

Xaviniesta said...

wow a few hours into the shirt and hes talking the script already. shame. but maybe he always had it in him (to turn his back on impt things) guess its why i never liked him in the 1st place. welcome to la liga kaka. i'll laugh the loudest when iniesta puts the shimmy on you.

@shashi, no offence but my take on the man city thing is that it failed cos kaka didnt want to go meaning he had a say in it, this isnt some form of servitude is it, so all this talk about him making the ultimate sacrifice for the sake of Milan's financial well being, i dont buy a word of it. all due respect.

Poor guy is going to be the most overhyped transfer of the season :D

Anyone watching Spain-Azerbaijan? Fabregas just got elbowed or something in the box and is bleeding from a gash on his head. Probably not a serious injury but glad it wasn't Xavi :P

Anurag said...

sashi, mate, if kaka really really wanted to help milan he would have gone to city which was offering milan 150 mill, more than twice. all this is tosh. lets see what he can do now. you go after moneys, you fail. this is what will ahppen to kaka

Kaka is a great player, and it surprises me that's he's so quick to call out Barca, or as xaviniesta nicely put it, "talking the script." I'm not quite at a point where I hate him. I have enormous respect for him and I'm glad he's coming to La Liga rather than BPL, even if it means he plays for our rivals. I hate Madrid but watching them get trounced by Liverpool was as depressing as it was satisfying. The constant talk of English domination drives me crazy. As a football fan, I'm looking forward to watching Kaka play every week. As a Barca fan I'm also looking forward to watching Xavi and Iniesta make Kaka disappear in the midfield when we face RM next year. RM is making lots of moves really quickly and obviously dominating the transfer gossip. They've got a couple months to have lots of talk a big gam, spend a lot of money, and then we'll see how they do. I'm not worried, yet. If we lock up Yaya, figure out our striker situation, sign Ribery and a couple of defenders, I'll continue not to worry.

real madrid are preparing their own funeral. they will pay about 250-300 mio euro and at the end puyol will rise the goblets in the air.

what are they going to do if they won't win anything?

yea....i think he didnt wanted to help milan...but when you think closely......after he won th award which was like 2 seasons ago......ronaldo and him said dat they would like to play in spain....n now after a ittle investigation,,,,,,,,he went to madrid bcoz it is his fav club since childhood...not bcoz of wages,,,not bcoz club got financial problem but it waas bcoz he really wanted to go to madrid.....you know how i know???? bcoz my friend is kaka's freaking cousin....

Milan fans must be pissed off...First there was Manchester City and their pile of money, then Kaka rejected the offer and talked about love for Milan and so on...And now he's a Real Madrid player and he's hated by both Barca and Milan fans. What a sell-out

Albert said...

i am waiting for "El classico"

sashi said...

he he :) ok anyway started hating him now :) so no big difference. so let me just say tat i admired him as long as he was in Milan :) anyway he's gonna be the biggest ever flop in football history thanks to his Madrid teammates.

at least he acknowledges that Barca are the kings of club soccer

I agree with blablabla37. Kaka is an epic downfall... A few months ago he was swearing that he loved Milan... money change people and so they did with him. But the truth is that he can only hope. Think about it. His injuries have already slowed him down, and of course , he never coopperated well with other forwards (eg. Ronaldinho) neither got well with Cristiano Ronaldo, who (if he signs too) is going to be prefered in the starting lineups more than him, definitely. Also, having a team full of big names that have not been developed in the club leads to instability, frustration and overconfidence. So, another big clash is going to take place in Real Madrid... And the hegemony never ends! Visca el Barca!

Barca!, you are totally spot on!

I DONT UNDERSTAND Y EVERY1 IS HAITING ON HIM..I MEAN HE TURNED DOWN MAN CITY BECAUSE HE WAS NOT A MONEY HUNGRY PLAYER. HE WANTED TO PLAY IN A TOP TEAM. I honestly don't have a problem with Kaka. I'm happy that he's coming to La liga and not England where the media has overtaken the football. Laliga needs players like him.

But I am not feeling worried just yet because i know that in terms of quality, he's still below Iniesta and Messi. But anyway. El clasico this time is gonna be even more epic, with Kaka and possible Cristiano on one side and Iniesta and Messi on the other.

But if we remain humble and in united, I know that we have enough quality (plus whoever is coming in) to conquer Spain and Europe. Hopefully we will, Visca Barca y Visca Catalunya!!

now robinho is link with barca lol i love this transfer season it's so intense. who is barca going to sign. hmmm my choices are ribery, filipe, benzema, bruno saltor &alves and cesc(i do believe we will get him this year *fingers cross*)

Kaka is no mercenary. and i dont believe he will be a flop either. hes a world player of the year and not the likes of ronaldihno. at madrid he will make them smile but when it comes to el clasico he wont be enough. Im glad he came because it will be a challange to get to his best form again at madrid. if it works la liga will and rightfully should take over as the dominant league.

Fat hope:D
If he wanted to help milan, he would have accepted the offer from mancity in the first place

Anurag said...

lol, Marc, no ibra??

kidding :P

i could care less what Kaka hopes for. he's even worse than Robinho - at least we knew that he felt unappreciated and thus asked for a move. Which i fear will happen will Yaya Toure this summer. How in the world can we be linked with players like Trezeguet, Toni and who else not but fail to grant Toure a pay rise??? In my book Laporta hasn't done much wrong during his stay - heck even i admit we're better off without Ronaldinho but Toure?! C'mon he earned his salary and never complains about where to play or what to play. If Toure leaves because of monetary issues - it'll be fucked up.

lol anurag i have accepted the fact that zlatan is a target to big for barca, 70-80 mil is just too much. benzema is much cheaper but my fingers are crossed hoping something comes up that will allow zlatan to join barca for 4o-45mil.

@blaugrana1: true, milan wanted to sell him to man city but kaka refused the move bec man city isnt real madrid. which is fine, thats his prerogative but i think the main reason why milan fans and others accuse him of certain things now is bec he wasn’t exactly truthful. watch his interview or read the transcript and you will wonder about his motives yourself. same thing happened when he left sao paulo, he had a contract till 2004 but then a few games into the 2003 season he upped and left why? cos milan got threatened by the interest of the other clubs they preempted the agreement. Sao Paulo couldnt stop Kaka from leaving, which then shows Kaka (and his family) make the decisions, no one can force him/them to do things. see that’s the thing about this sordid business, Kaka gives the impression he was forced to make a sacrifice for Milan but its not exactly true. He left cos he wanted to, he went for the BETTER DEAL, prestige-wise and financially, who are we kidding Milan are so debt ridden they cant afford to pay his keep + they need money to freshen up the squad and more impt'ly Kaka stands to earn more with madrid ( I heard 10 mil p.a. making him the highest paid player ), it was a dream deal the way it sorted out things for everyone..so no problem right, BUT THEN he should have been more truthful to people, at least Sheva was..so now he should retire in Madrid like he said in his press statements and stop playing with Paulistas’ feelings anymore by saying meaningless things like retiring at his old club (SPFC) as he was saying JUST LAST YEAR.

@ratty 88 yes i agree he was WPOY and a great player give him props sure but not at that expense of ronaldinho, this is surprising from a barca fan but anyway its your opinion heres mine: KAKA is not worthy to even tie the shoe laces of RONALDINHO.

no offence to anyone.

barcelonista/paulista

Im a football first and a Barca fan second, so i think this move is good for spanish football. El Classico should be very entertaining this year if Madrid make similar signings. Although i dont like the fact he went to Madrid, i will always like Kaka. He was amazing in the season when he won the Ballon D'Or and World Player of the Year.
