Spanish news agency EFE claims that there's still no final agreement on the transfer of Barcelona central defender and Uruguay international Martín Cáceres (22) to Juventus.
A Barcelona source would have confirmed to the news agency that both clubs are on the verge of signing a one-year loan deal, with an option for Juventus to buy Cáceres at the end of the coming season for 11 million euro plus 1 million euro in incentives.
Despite the principal agreement between the clubs and the fact that Cáceres already passed the medical tests on Friday, there would still be a problem about who should pay the solidarity rights if Juventus would in the end sign Cáceres permanently next year. FIFA rules state that 5 per cent of a transfer fee should be paid to the clubs wa playerwas formed. It is nevertheless expected that the loan deal will be officially announced tomorrow.

Great policy... Barca bought him last summer for a fee of 16.5M and now is ready to accept 11M to get rid of him. The thing which is more disturbing is that Barca is ready to buy "another Caceres" from Shakhtar.
At least, give the chance to Caceres or to Barca's young products.
no doubt, gotta agree with doctor house, he may be crazy, but always ends up being right. henriques is no better than caceres, n for me caceres certainly deserves a chance.
rental fee for 2m (i guess)
plus
11m +1m
would be absolutely no problem for us.
anyway...his style won't suit us at all.
stupid. why wouldnt we make it at least the break even point of 16.5M...
