Assistant coach wants one or two more transfers

Speaking to Catalan radio station Catalunya Ràdio, Barcelona assistant coach Tito Vilanova has said he thinks that more transfers are needed:

"We would need one or two more transfers. Last season, we were lucky because few players got injured and we could keep our framework in place.

Except at the end of the season, but then we were again lucky to have several players who can play at more than one position and take up more than one role. But even so we need to further strengthen the squad."

Yeah... Yaya Toure saved our ass in those final matches, he is an amazing 3 dimensional rock who can't be stopped. S.Busquets, G.Pique, and S.Keita really stepped it up last season too IMO.

Hopefully we will pull off this Cesc Fabregas deal with Arsenal. I think it would be potentially more significant than any transfer made All Summer...Again, ''just my opinion''

Does anyone know the stasis of G.Milito?

Thanks R10. If that Filipe case is true and that he can leave for free (as I understand it via the translation), then I'm sure we'll get him. Heck! I would even suggest the board pays Depor a small transfer fee, say 1-2mil, just to keep things amicable.

Whaaaaat the Fuck!!! It seems we could sign Luis Filipe for FREE... Sport claims we will sign Luis Filipe for free and use Maxwell furthur up front :)

Signing in Luis Filipe Kasmirsky, Dmitro Chyhrynskiy & Ibrahim Afellay does sound interesting to me :)
Anyway Alves & Maxwell can't play simultaneously on either flanks. So Filipe becomes our main LB, Maxwell is sent up front to play DM during ACN or LM. Afellay to cover Iniesta & Henry. Does really seem nice :)

I agree with you about Yaya . I also think that Sylvinho did an excellent job too. I believe the absence of two dumb-asses(Abidal and Marquez) was definitely a plus for Barça in the CL final !!
