Quote of the day: Casillas

In a way, I am even glad that Eto'o has left
because he has been a nightmare for me.

Real Madrid goalkeeper

Casillas is such a class act. It's a shame the rest of his club aren't.

Your true nightmare will begin when you face Zlatan. :D

Have to agree with Leon, Casillas is a true and commited player. He should play in barca.

Iniesta Goooooaaaaal !!!!! said...

I prefer Raul! He is a good friend with Pep Guardiola. He never say a bad word against Barça.

Casillas just tell this with the intention that Barça is weak.

Visça Barça Tri Campions !!!

Ibra will let Eto'o forgett and become the new nightmare of Real and Casillas !!!

Yeah,he is so lucky he's gone, but maybe he hasn't seen nothing yet,who knows how Ibra will do.Now the ones that will have nightmares are Buffon and Abbiati, lol.

casillas is great, both as a person and a sports man... raul is a gentlemen, too.

yes eto'o was a nightmare for them but zlatan will be a different nightmare.

Now Casillas will be owned by Ibra not just tap-ins but shots like these :

i laugh at people taking credit from eto for tap-ins,those are goals too and are goals because of the players good positioning and nose for goals,i prefer 30 tapins than 20-25 shots.

eto is more unpredictable than ibra and faster ,but ibra has better finishing and is good at headers.
who fits better ? we will see this year

casillas words were said in respect for etoo, as a goodbye to a great player and not that he thinks barca is weak now.
casillas showed often, that he has the heart on the right place and has a good character, that is hard to find, even in catalunya or elsewhere rarely

agree skanjos, as a player like romario became one of the greatest strikers just with tap-ins.
there's nothing more to say about etoo, as his statistics will also in the future, in barcas history speak for theirselves.

Zlatan scored against Casillas in the euro 2008 so i think casillas remembers zlatan. I think we will see a lot of goals like this from zlatan, where he's just standing in the penalty area an no spanish defender can take the ball of him because of his strenght and teknik.

hmmm... I guess when Zlatan 3-60 him and walk into the goal then he will keep his mouth shut.

Anyway, i respect this guy, he is my favourite Madrid player alongside Higuain.

Last year casillas had a horrible year with loads of goals booted though partly becos of paltry defenders. On the contrary valdes was exceptional albeit for very few mistakes. Even then Spanish FA is blind folded and del bosch refuses to give him a chance ?? may be they dont want a barca dominated espana team ?? interesting .....

@skanjos I am not discrediting tap-in as they are infact very important part of the goal scoring prowess. But it should be part of overall goal scoring antics and innovation. Also every tap-in should be efficient like when it really matters, which makes a difference between a draw and loss not just when the team is cruising 3-0 and you add to it. The final finishing just like Ronaldo( the brazilian). I hope kerrison develops like him or Romario a.k.a being efficient.

Romario is way behind Eto'o in the ranking of most important Barcelona players, don't even compare them.

"Also every tap-in should be efficient like when it really matters"

Like in two CL finals, you mean?
