Eto'o-Milito sounds like an interesting forward duo. Milito really has a surprising career, he was under the radars for quite a while, but he made his way to the top in the end.

But back then he was an unknown former loaned-out Madrid player. When he moved to Inter he's already a star quality.

It must have been his alleged off-field reputation that clouded Inter's fans acceptance of him. They may, like alot of us, have doubts that he'll gel with his new team, character-wise.

Poor Eto'o, but no worries, Mourinho is a genius who'll make sure Eto'o give his best.

That's Italy for you. No wonder the league is losing its best players. Eto'o is good for the Italian league because he will run circles around the old, slow defenders. Eto'o should follow Mourinho to the Premiership after a year or two.

face it. regardless of how well ibra does, inter really took us to the cleaners on this one.

They must be laughing their heads off all the way to the bank.

Call it a bad deal all you want, but Barca had little choice in the matter. You have an aging (by forward standards) player who is not enthusiastic about renewing a contract due to expire in a year's time. Eto'o is worth at least 30m euro, but contract years make a big difference in a transfer fee. We were never going to get a king's ransom for him.

Ultimately, the actual fee paid to Inter could be reduced a further 10m euro or more if Hleb does well there. They have a buy option on him. In today's market, a club like Barca will always be forced to overpay for quality. But, I guess we could have done like Ferguson and pin our hopes on Michael "Glass Bones" Owen.

This is to all those Eto'o lovers who seem to be more of an Eto'o fans than Barça fans . The last time I checked the club's name is FC Barçelona NOT FC Eto'o . You either deal with it or follow him to Inter !!
