No concrete talks with Poulsen

Asked about the rumours linking Juventus midfielder and Danish international Christian Poulsen (29) with a move to Barcelona (read more here), the player's agent Jorn Bonnesen has said in an interview with Italian football site Tutto Mercato Web that there's nothing concrete so far:

"I've heard about Barcelona, but until now there haven't been any concrete talks. The English Premier League might be a good destination for my client but everything will depend on the club and the offer. We also only want to leave permanently so we won't accept a loan deal."

excellent news. This guy is far from the Barca-level.

THANK GOD! Pep has to stop going for mediocre players. I mean sure, the man's a genius and his tactics make regular players look real good, but damn, Poulsen???

This is defenetly good news, however Bonnesen is always understating these things.
Just the fact that there is an interest, scares me.

Reading that they won't accept a loan deal is fantastic. I can't see barca buying him. The only reason they could be interested in him, is to cover for Yaya and Keita during ACN, I am certain that they will want to buy a star CM next summer, then he'll be obsolete.

Fcbee - yeah, he isn't very popular in Denmark after he punched Rosenberg in the Euro 2008 qualifying match against Sweden two years ago. He didn't get as munch attention as the fan who stormed the pitch and the referee, but IMO was Christian the real sinner.

okay, look, poulsen is a backup's backup's backup. toure, busquets, marquez, maybe keita and THEN poulsen will be the preference order. is he SOOOO bad that he cant even play against, say, murcia? or numancia? think logically.
