With the arrival of Milan adviser Ernesto Bronzetti in Madrid today, it is expected that new talks between Milan and Barcelona sports director Txiki Begiristain will be held in the coming hours on the transfer of Barcelona right back defender and Italian international Gianluca Zambrotta (31). Although Zambrotta has a contract until 2010, it looks like the player will return to his home country in the summer.
Catalan sports paper El Mundo Deportivo claims that Barcelona wants to insert Zambrotta in a package deal with Barcelona playmaker Ronaldinho. While Barcelona is asking 50 million euro for the two players, Milan would only be willing to pay 25 million euro. Catalan sports paper Sport claims that Milan is now focusing all its attention on Zambrotta alone and has made an offer of 7 million euro.
Bronzetti has said yesterday in an interview with Italian radio station Radio Kiss Kiss that he thinks a deal can be found and that the only remaining problem is the transfer fee. Italian football website Tutto Mercato Web meanwhile claims that Milan has offered right back Massimo Oddo (31) in exchange to lower the price.

Well Iniesta's goal is finally helping me erase the nightmares about Zambrotta's assist to Paul Scholes last year!
Chelsea's goal was very similar. Not even a real chance, ball just falling at the right place for Essien, like for Scholes last season. After the 0-0 in the first game, this looked like a replay.
