Adebayor new name on centre forward list

With first choice Karim Benzema probably not going to leave Olympique Lyon in the summer (read more here), Barcelona is looking for an alternative to strengthen the front line. Since Chelsea striker Didier Drogba has an age disadvantage (read more here), Catalan sports paper El Mundo Deportivo claims that Barcelona would now have turned its attention to Arsenal forward and Togolese international Emmanuel Adebayor (24).


It is nevertheless expected that Arsenal doesn't have any intentions to let go Adebayor, whose contract expires in 2010, even more now since the club has already lost a key player like Flamini to Milan and Hleb, another important figure, could be on his way to Inter. To convince the English club and to lower the cash spending, Barcelona would consider to offer players in return. Barcelona forward and Cameroonian international Samuel Eto'o (27) is mentioned in that perspective.

I wouldnt mind, he's a goal scorer but he's not the best. We could do better I think but idk he could work out well.
