Guardiola definitely absolved in doping case

The Italian football association has yesterday put out an official statement saying that Barcelona manager Josep Guardiola (38) has won his appeal against a four-month ban for doping he served as a Brescia player in 2001.

Guardiola had been accused of failing tests for nandrolone, but after being cleared on appeal of all charges by the criminal court of appeal in 2007, the Italian federation has now also said in a statement that he was absolved, which means that his case of 2001 has been revised.
