@Mahi: Look at their age, they are good players, but not for the first squat at Barcelona.

You cannot promote ten B guys each year, then you would have a squad of 40 players after two years. You have to make choices and of course sometimes you make a bad choice but that's life...

Some guys, like Xavi Torres, could ahve been good players to fill the squad but if his contract expires and he has an offer from a team like Malaga where he can compete for a spot as starter, it's normal he leaves and we don't try to stop him.

None of these guys seem to come from our youth ranks either (i really didnt know that). They have only played in the club for 2 years, so i see no harm in lettng them go. I don't think we would let players like gai, thiago or muniesa leave as easily.

These guys were signed from other clubs to evaluate if they could make it to the first team, and in some cases to strngthen weak positions in the b-team, but they didnt prove exceptional and we have to prepare place for new players from the juvenil - thus, they have to leave.

Is there a good place on the net with more info on the youth teams, with player profiles etc? The official site is kinda of bad actually.
