pep running down the toucline was classic, just as it was classic for him to run onto the field as a ballboy.

The good news for us is that Stadio Olimpico, where the finals will be held has EXACT dimensions as the pitch in Camp Nou :)

Time to assert our game and drink the devil's blood!

What a party last night eh boys?

But does a few metres bigger really make that much of a difference?

Yes it does.. Barca needs all the width it can get to exert it's style on the game. Chelsea's pitch was 5m less wide and it made a HUGE difference.

Did you see how Pep went mad and Sylvinho had to tell him to make the substitutions? Hahaha... madness!

The official Uefa site says that Stamford Bridge is only two metres smaller and one metre less long than the Camp Nou but I really think it's more. Or maybe it's just the position of the cameras that makes it look a lot smaller?

From Wikipedia:
Stamford Bridge: 103 x 67 metres (113 x 73)
Camp Nou: 105 x 68 metres (115 x 74 yards)

I believe even 1 metre width and the length does make a lot of difference.

Our players are more comfortable with large pitches, and Chelsea did well to stifle us in many aspects.

Hopefully on May 27th we will gain our revenge against the Devils. I just hope we score first and not the other way around. Else it will be like yesterday, or perhaps even like the Arsenal final all over again.

I would be really worried if our game was affected by 2 squared meters of space! I always thought people have made too much out of this. Every English Stadium is a cluster; pitch is a bit smaller (2 sq m in this case), the fans are literally sitting on the players' laps, and the cameras are positioned differently. They combine to create a sense of suffocation to the viewer and that coupled with the subpar game, it's easy for the fans to draw the conclusion that we were affected by the pitch size.

We had less space, but it's mainly due to the way Guus backed up the bus in their defensive 1/3. But again, what do I know?

Another funny thing is how Chelsea has been crying about the ref - being a novice having only officiated 10 games.

Far from truth. He has been a ref for 22 CL games:
