West Ham cannot afford Gudjohnsen

Catalan sports paper Sport claims that West Ham United is still interested in Barcelona attacker and Iceland international Eidur Gudjohnsen (30) but that the financial situation of the Icelandic owners of the English club makes a deal complicated.

British tabloid The Daily Mail meanwhile claims that Barcelona is asking a transfer fee of around 6 million euros° for Gudjohnsen but that it would be difficult for West Ham to match the player's year salary of 3,5 million euros.

also we cannot afford losing guddy with that roster we have.where could we find a replacment for that money? he plays fine in the midfield.

here goes the only team that wanted him, looks like he's set to stay another year... but he could give the midfield a breather sometimes ...in unimportant games of course ^_^

that's a very good news, we dont have anyone to replace iniesta in the attacking midfield so keeping guddy with us is a very good news, he has a very good mentality too ,he never caused any trouble since he came to barcelona

Hosni: Xavi replaces Iniesta in attacking midfield. Don't you know?

The best lineup is Xavi as attacking mid, with Yaya as a box-to-box midfielder and Busquets as DM or a new DM. This is the fact, Hosni!
