Speaking to journalists after Stuttgart's Champions league qualifier win against Timisoara, Stuttgart sports director Horst Heldt said that the club would want to keep Stuttgart attacker and Barcelona loan out Alexander Hleb (28) after the loan deal expires next summer:
"He's here for now, which is already a good thing. But of course we would want him to stay with us for a longer period."
Asked about the statements, Hleb said in an interview with German sports weekly Sport Bild that it could be an option for him: "I'm really happy when Horst Heldt says that he wants to have me with the club for a longer period. We will see what will happen."

So pay up the money
maybe 13m-15m would be fine for us.
Go hlelb!
why don't we sign Luis Suarez? he has scored FOUR goals. Holy cow.
and keirrison didn't play today. Two games in a row without playing.
Totally agree. With 14 million or so and they can have him. It's unfortunate he could not play like that at Barcelona but the pressure was too much for him. If he comes back next year maybe Pep will give him another chance but if any team offers a good sum they should sell him.
I think stuttgart has an option to buy him at the end of the season for like 10 million euro, so I don't think we'll get 15-17 million for him.
