Ibrahimovic arrives two minutes late for training

Barcelona's official televison channel released footage of Barcelona player Zlatan Ibrahimoic coming two minutes late for yesterday's training session at 9 am.

The video shows Guardiola who walks nervously around, waiting for Zlatan to attend the morning training session at the club's Joan Gamper training centre.

Time to give a nice good smacking for the big ass Pep... Do it now before it's too late

Hope he got fined....dont want him treated any differently to any of the other players. Even though it was only 2 mins, i disticntly remember Messi and a few others being fined for being 3-4 mins late to a training session last year.

come on cut the guy some slack ,it was 2 minutes ,maybe he went to pee or sth.

Don't mess with Pep, Zlatan. He's no Mourinho... :)

What he reached 2 mins late for training? Lets form and angry mob with fire sticks and pitch forks and go get him. :). LOL.

OMG Zlatan out.

creus said...

He should absolutely get fined for it. Like Hilal said, last year a bunch of players were late for a trainig and was penalized for it.

Okay, we already got some of the money back that we had to pay in huge amount for his transfer... It's time to pay back with your performances as well Zlatan :)

Guess Pep is starting to get a bad "feeling" about Zlatan... He's out next summer, read my lips!

EMD claims Laporta would have said to be keen to sign Robben or Higuain if the Madrid board are willing to sell them to us for a reasonable-market price... If suppose that happens who would you welcome, Robben or higuain? Me, I will go for Higuain. The man is a genuine striker, good poacher. Robben is a selfish mother fucker, don't want him any where near barcelona

Not good, not good. A bad start to the relationship with Pep. Will Pep get a "feeling"?

Humankind said...

Of course Higuain. The man is absolutely amazing. He is more consistent and more versatile. He doesn't get injured a lot.

Robben on the other hand always gets substituted in big games. Against smaller teams he is unplayable, but he is feckless against bigger teams.

Madrid aren't willing to sell us any players. We should just forget about it. All they care about is to prevent us from being the first team in history from getting back-to-back CL titles, with the final being played at Bernabeu, and instead winning the 10th CL themselves at the Bernabeu. It is all about CL this season.

barca4life said...

Robben is glass, but if we get him for 10-15 million why not? we could use the backup. Higuain is great I'd love if we got him

barca4life said...

Anony Madrid want to prevent us but they need cash desperately too. They have 250 million in loans to pay back and they want to raise 100 million by selling players. If we are willing to pay they wont discrminate especially since they dont want robben.

robben/sneijder/van der vaart for 60 mil the 3 dutchmen.i think those 3 would sign at barca,i have doupts for robben(way too selfish)but i think in barca they would change their style.

especially van der vaart would be welcomed ^^.remember real have a hard time selling players, and if those came in the end they will play like crazy for barca to get the league and be on bernabeu for cl final, also it wont be the first time a real player came to barca(luis enrique)we wanted cicinho.

sell him

Ibra will probably be fined, but it won't be any large amount. Last year, players who were late were fined, players who didn't eat with everyone else were fined, etc. That money was used later for other things. It's a good system and it's why Barca are more family than team.

anyone saw psv-ajax?Balazs Dzsudzsak the player that scored 2 goals and was amazing in field (winger, incredible free kicks, very fast, great player)is wanted by arsenal, why arent we interested he is a beast, and i would also love to steal him before arsenal, just to rub it in their faces.

Anonymous said...

I don't think Arsenal would be interested in him any more. They have a lot of wealth up front. but Wenger most likely want to sign a squad player just so that he covers injured players like Nasri & Rosicky. Yeah but Balazs Dzsudzsak is a very good player. He not plays on wing, but also at CAM & plays as second striker also. More like Kaka he is :)

guadiola must fine him like 1000 euro, hops?

take it easy guys. maybe it was traffic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i_love_boobs_and_barca said...

If I was Guardiola, I wouldn't include him in the squad for the Gamper game.

What a fucking jerk. He used to act like this when he was in Inter all the time, but they had to tolerate it because he was their god. We don't...

Anurag said...

@i_love - that is silly man, it was 2 minutes, not a big deal. he got a fine of 100 euros, good enough for me. he needs to play some games before the season starts, you know!

Fred_FCB said...

rofl. people need to chill.

let the guy play a game first atleast

Rafa said...

He would have been briefed on these kind of things already, so i think he knows the score about coming late to training. He wont be suprised when he gets the fine, he will pay it and get on with things as usual. Nothing here... move along.

Harsha said...

2 mins late ...!! this cant happen. Sell him to madrid :)

i_love_boobs_and_barca said...

Fining football players with money is ridiculous. 1000 euros to him is like 0.000001 to me. It's nothing. He won't even think about it. It's not a punishment.

Look at all the guys, they are all there, waiting for this jerk to come. It's a sign of disrespect, and he should be punished by not playing tonight. But obviously that's not going to happen.

boobs is just over-reacting... Cut it out dude

Emilfu said...

Chill down guys, the reason he had for being late was the fact that he needed to have his bandaid changed. It took a little while longer than normally.

Zlatan is in NO way to be blamed for this.

Anonymous said...

Typically AFTONBLADET. There's a reason why Zlatan won't talk to their reporters. This is nothing, never believe anything you read or hear from them.

No way we need the sucker van der vaart in our team !! he degraded us saying he will never take a step back from madrid by going to barca or valencia. For god's sake dont mention the bas**d name !! please ppl dont utter that guys name.

Anonymous said...

any official statement about this? ...
people think that happened, because he couldn't get up at 7'o clock, or something like this.

you know, everything could be the cause.
1. his hand
2. he talked with doctors
3. etc

wait for the official statement of Pep, or the club. If needed...

Nacko said...

woooww we punish him with money?
like he cares about money?money is one thing he has!
id just give him 20 laps...

Discipline is what made Barcelona so powerful last season. They respected and believed in Pep so Zlatan should also be disciplined when he breaks the rules. The team fined players last season for being late as well so there should be no excuses. Of course if it was for an emergency then things are different. Regardless Zlatan should get used to the rules and respect them or be fined: It's not so much about the money as it is about setting limits and boundaries to the players.
