2009-2010 shirts officially announced

The first choice shirt recovers the traditional vertical stripes. The colour of the second choice kit is bright mango, evoking the Mediterranean Sea, with blue edgings.

The team will wear the new first choice kit for the first time next Saturday in the Camp Nou for the match against Osasuna. The second choice kit will be used for the last league match of the season, away to Deportivo.

The dark shirt is awesome... is it the goalkeepers uniform? if not... i would be glad if it was our away kit

They already use it now? I thought they only start using it next season. Whats the point if that? And how did they get a picture with Bojan and Pique in the new shirts? Photoshop or something?

What about CL final?..The whole season they've played with old kits and they won 2 throphies. Why is it so necessary - changing kist now? Do they believe in omens?

@anony, for the pique and borjan picture, they use photoshop to change the jersey's color to match that of the new color. i wish that black one was our away jersey and the mango/orange color goes to valdes

Hey guys i have a question

Why do Barcelona not use the the Catalan National Ccolors as the away jersey?

not thrilled about these, but i'm sure i'll get used to them. will miss the 50/50 and hope we keep it for the CL final. wish the "mango" had a blue/red stripe like this year's away shirt. (also, why the crew collar? makes it look like someone ironed "unicef" onto a five dollar old navy t-shirt.) i like the away shorts, though, and I'm glad they are dark blue and not mango. socks are sweet. will go nicely with the thinner stripes.

who cares, though. everything looks good on Captain Puyol!!!!! our boys will make these kits shine. VISCA EL BARCA!

I hate the away-kit. Super-ugly.

Like the home-jersey though.

Barcelona would have asked to play the CL final with the new kit (the first one, since we are the "home team" in Rome), but UEFA rejected this.

the kit looks quite good, i will get all. are you sure the black kit is the goalkeeper kit or our third atire.

Third shirt will be our current second, the yellow one.

Also I have also wondered why Barcelona never tried a yellow/red striped shirt for the away as recognition to their representation of the Catalans.

Because the home kit has red stripes, the point of an away kit is to be different colors. Wearing red and yellow stripes might cause confusion when we play athletico or bilbao away. Think of the orange as a combination of red and yellow. I for one think all of three are beautiful and I hope the "mango" grows on those who dont like.
