Quote of the day: Guardiola

With other players, I wouldn't have won the league title,
but they would have with another coach.

HUMBLE. But I still doubt it. The R10 & Deco crew didnt win last year cos they needed a "driver" to drive them but Rijkaard was a bit soft. So this new dream team might not have won.

man i love pep, so humble. i agree with noubarca, our first team hasn't drastically changed since the last two years, alves and pique, being the exceptions, but what has changed is the determination. i've lost count of the amount of times this season that i have thought "We wouldn't have won this game last season", not to knock rijkard i think he gave the players the confidence to play the great football that we do, but pep has basially kicked them up the arse and got total commitment out of the whole squad,

really think he is going to become one of the greatest mangers of all time, and if he can out do fergerson, who is the greatest as much as i hate to admit it, he is well on his way. come on pep and barca!

Pep, you deserve the credit you re getting. Tho I hope people dont forget rijkaard. For me this year is a continuation of a 'golden age' started by him. Under rijkaard xavi, iniesta and messi were allowed to develop. They (and toure and puyol) are the backbone of this team. I hope pep continues this tradition of developing players next season.

i like pep. he seems far more enthusiastic about his job than rijkaard was. but some of his tactical decisions need fine tuning. his unwillingness to use subs is pretty frustrating. as is his knack of getting too emotional (remember the messi "diving" incident against bayern. but he is a great motivator and can extract the best out of his team. i dont think this barca squad would have won a title with another coach primarily for this reason
