Six players out of changed Mallorca list

Barcelona manager Josep Guardiola announced earlier today a list of 18 players for the league game against Mallorca this evening at 7:00 pm.

The list:
Valdés, Oier,
Alves, Fontàs, Cáceres, Abidal, Sylvinho,
Víctor Sánchez, Abraham, Xavi Torres, Keita, Thiago, Gudjohnsen,
Jeffren, Eto'o, Bojan, Hleb, Pedro

Because Barcelona won the league last night after Real Madrid's defeat, Guardiola decided to change yesterday's match list and to rest six players for today's game: Puyol, Piqué, Touré, Busquets, Xavi and Messi. Pinto didn't pass the medical test and is also not included. Barcelona Atlètic players Oier, Fontàs, Xavi Torres, Abraham, Thiago and Jeffren will travel with the team to Mallorca.

Uhm you should look out for thiago and jeffren in particular. Jeffren is a skillfull winger who is from venezuela but has played for the spain u-21 team and thiago is more of a central midfielder who has brazillian roots but has represented spain u-17's already winning the european u-17 championship on the previous occasion. Thiago is highly rated and thought of as a possible future barca starter

Thank God we'll see some second team playing. I am tired of all the greatness of playing we've been seeing from the starting eleven. :D

Some more on the B players.

Oier: goalkeeper, was only second goalkeeper this season (after Mino, who got injured)

Fontas: central defender, last season Juvenil A captain

Abraham: polyvalent midfielder, can also play as full back

Xavi Torres: captain of Barcelona Atletic, defensive midfielder

Thiago: attacking midfielder, together with Gai the star name in the B team

Jeffren: winger, two serious injuries this season but apparently just in time recovered
