He should definitely stay. I think he's gonna explode in the next two years, like Messi or Iniesta did.
And he'll get more playing time next season, cause Eto'o will play for Cameroon in the African Cup of Nations.
We don't need a new striker fpr that time, keep faith in Bojan, he won't disappoint us.

i think a loan move to celtic would be great, especially if he plays in the match against rangers, that atmosphere, that adreniline, that feeling on such a big stage will be more than enough experience.

I definitely want him to stay. But if we loan him out, I hope it's somewhere that he can get touches on the pitch because that is what develops a player, not the atmosphere or Adrenaline! Scottish League is not similar to Spain at all. They have less teams which translates into less games; not a good proposition for a loan move. We already have a big stadium that should excite any player stepping on it, so Bojan becoming comfortable on "big stage" as a rationale for a move to SPL is petty at best.
Again, I think we need to be patient with the player who holds the record for the most goals scored in Barcelona's youth history. And if he is to be loaned out, he should be surrounded by decent players. I would like to see him Valencia if they sell Villa, or in Villarreal, or a team of that caliber in Spain.

...he should surely went on loan...at the moment there's no place for him...he loves barca and don't wants to go,but for his education it's a must...he's very talented, but none with the special extra...with experiance and little work he could be very useful for barca...but to stay, warming the bench,is a waste of his talent...he has a lot to learn and for that he needs to play...one step back and hopefully two forward...

bojan holds the record for the most goals scored in Barcelona's youth history? ..... how many goals and in how many matches??!

I vote No for "selling" because he has a future with this team.

I Vote "Double No" for loaning him out, its too late after two seasons playing for the first team. If he cant start cementing his role now (regardless of the role nature), he never will. Specially with the host of talents the Youth ranks generates every year.

Selling means losing a player with future. Loaning means unsettling the player and destroying his future.

Check the story or Real Madrid youth. So, keep or sell, don't hook. Yet the key question is: Can you find a better player for 10-15M? I don't think so.

He scored 960 goals in 7 years at youth level. That is physically impossible!

The youngest ever Barcelona scorer in La Liga
The youngest Barcelona player to play in the Champions League
First invited to the U-21 international at 16
Won European U-21 & 2nd in U-17 World Cup

Everytime I see Bojan, I see one or two tricks, clean passing, good movement, and I truly believe that if he played most games, he too would average the 25's quota, he is very much a Michael Owen to me, a natural goal scorer, right place right time, nice clean shot, able to lose his tracking defender.

He along with a partner in crime to burden the load, henry, etoo or llorente, could be right for CF, although its not a transfer's man dream.

Or...push him to evolve at left wing, but in order to best great in that position, he'll probably need a season and constant starts.

actually carrer, scottish league has quite alot of games cause some teams they play three times and i'm sure you know scottish league is underrated and the celtic-ranger game is one of the biggest rivalries and most exciting to watch, do you know barca remain the only team to beat celtic on a european stage at their home, that's because they have a huge fan support that rivals that of barca-madrid el classico and boca-river rivalry. i rate scottish league on the same lvl as french and german. he will do well playing in celtic with crosas and experience what it is to lead a team and don't forget that scottish league is kinda rough, if he gets past that he will rape the fagile spain defences.

Carrer de Corsega said...

Exactly, they might be on the same level as the French league, but what is the point of that? He is just starting to get the feel of La Liga, why would we want to send him away to adjust to a different system of playing?

I respect your opinion, but Scottish League is the last place that I would want Bojan to play in. There are two incumbent old firms that dominate year-in-year-out, and the rest of the competition is average at most. He will play in a league that has most of its games postponed because of shitty weather before he comes back to sunny Spain. One single intense rivalry is not necessary nor sufficient to loan him out to a Scottish team.

All around, it just doesn't sound good.

now that you put it that way, maybe he should stay but even so, he won't get much time and he would develop quite slow maybe even leave barca. notice we are linked with countless youth strikers, i think that's a signal that bojan's position in barca isn't as safe as everyone thinks, either way when he flourishes he will come back to us just like pique and just like cesc in a 1 year time.

STAY. there are no doubts in my mind.

corazona: please explain why, not just say, stay, and nothing else. It doesn't add anything to the debate, which is what we are trying to create here. Do you understand?

Give him some more starts and the boy would start showing why he is rated as high as Leo Messi!!!

LeónDragón said...

...either he fights and wins a place in first team or he fails and stays a benchwarmer till he get sold...to loan him out could be too late...he have to make it or fake it...

Anonymous said...

Fake it? How is he supposed to fake it Leon?

LeónDragón said...

...fake it like he do it at the moment...he came as a promising talent and everybody waits to see him making the jump...till now he didn't kept the promise...that's why he has to make it,or keep faking it and go...got it?...

Its painful to read some of your comments...some people have lost their touch with reality

im kinda starting to like the idea of bojan leaving JUST to see the same guys wanting him to leave to cry like little babys when he suceeds elsewhere

I agree with some of the previous folks, everytime I see him play which ISNT ENOUGH. I see something different and impressive. I am getting sick and tired of hearing all these superstars we must sign this summer. If we win the CL then start to bring youth up for big starts. If the aging superstars dont like it then they will leave the next year. Most are the age they will need to be leaving anyway. Also, just what is Bojan's optimum position? Could he be a left winger? Why do we need Ribery if we have Bojan!!!!
