Robinho off the list

Catalan sports paper Sport claims that Manchester City left winger and Brazilian international Robinho (25) definitely will not join Barcelona this summer.

Barcelona would have been informed that the attempts by the player to convince his club to let him go didn't lead to any result. The club would now have given up on Robinho and will now look for other options.

I really hope that we'll sign Ribery.. Juan Mata also will do.. but, we'll see.. for now, sign Villa first

primary target now ribery,alternative mata ,3rd choice none. thats our options right now

the ribery is difficult,they will accept a bid of 80 from madrid and a bid of 60 from us ,my reasoning is that riberys contract expires in 2011 and next year they will be forced to sell him for less than 60 in order for him not leave 2011 for free(much like eto now),so then they will accept a bid of 50-60mil so i bet that they are waiting for either madrid to give 80 now or they will sell to us for 60(if we are willing to give such an amount).
thats my thought

on mata i dont think valencia will sell him,i bet they prefer to sell villa rather mata this year.if they decide to sell him it will be for 25mil at least because he is young and very talented,i think he deserves this amount and i prefer him to the ribery bid of 60mil.

on 3rd option ,it doesnt matter if we sign a lf if we get villa,keirrison and a midfielder cause then we will have plenty of players to play there henry/iniesta/bojan/pedro/hleb/gai.thats alot of cover ,also if we get andre santos or filipe i bet they can cover the position too.

so its not that bad in the end,we should focus on bringing villa/keirrison/a midfielder and a lB thought. i think the 4 transfers that pep was after was a striker a midfielder a lb and a cb but seeing eto leave i dont think we are gonna stay with only villa so keirrison has to stay too ,thats a total of 5 transfers .and we have a complete squad

@Don Luis - do you come here to bash people? you know very well that barcelona did not want to overpay in the filipe case.

@Don

-We did not want to sign filipe because he was clearly overpriced.Barca has the money to sign him but Depor just doesn't want to let go of him for less then 14 million €.BTW,we will get him one way or the other.Trust me.

Overpay by only €2M? Lmao. You don't think paying €30M for Bruno Alves is overpaying? We are good for centre back. Laporta knows we need LB not a CB.

And no I don't come to bash. I only comment on least commented articles.

@don luis: guardiola has requested for a CB. he said CB, LB, a midfielder and a striker for when samuel leaves.

About filipe, I think Depor will come to their senses. The market might not be this hot come January or next season and Filipe may get injured, drop his form etc. due to his frustration in not being able to join Barca and they could lose out. IMO Barca and Depor will agree on a 10-11mil price in the end.

Another rumour,i thought i read on this blog that Pep's priorities are a Center forward,left back,center back and a midfielder.Catalan sports paper report nothing but lies at times.Rumours which has no basis.Pep if we sign Forlan and get rid of Eto'o,i'm sorry but it is senseless
