Quote of the day: Pele

A player goes to Real Madrid and kisses the shirt, only to change teams the following day, kiss the shirt of the new club and pledge eternal love. In truth, they only love those who pay more, and all this is dangerous for the future of the sport.

Pelé, former football player

I was more hoping that he predicted Madrid to beat us for the next few decades!

I completely agree with what Pele just said. How can Don Luis tell him to shut up? Would you prefer players saying they love the highest paying team and money is there only motivation to play? Football would be so much better if players moved to other teams once their contracts runs out or they have the clubs blessing and considering everything like playing chances and which team they prefer rather then just money.

And how has Pele been a kiss ass to FIFA?

He is definitely talking about Benzema, it took that guy less than 10mins to kiss the madrid shirt

Pele is absolutely right...

I know not to be rude or anything but Don Luis sometimes says some weird things @ times

Pele is right on this one... Football players have lost the sense of "loyality" to the clubs..
