Iniesta gives away Stamford Bridge boots

Barcelona player Andrés Iniesta has given away the boots he wore during the Champions League semi-fianl return game against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge for an lottery draw to the benefit of a five-year old child who suffers cerebral palsy and needs money for treatments in the United States.

An aunt from the boy had written Iniesta asking to sign a shirt and a poster, but in the post package she received, she also found the signed yellow boots.

manolo you know sth we dont?sorry but madrid has nothing to do with this, and i bet raul/casillas and some others have the same philosophy and are great people too.you know most of those guyz are friends throught the spain squad.

barcelona and real madrid are the biggest rival teams in football along with boca and river.but i dont get why to offend the players.homegrown players like raul deserve respect m8 even from barcelona fans, remember how madrid fans claped ronaldinho in their stadium and this year messi?i bet some madrid players have done similar things like this and since we dont know we shouldnt judge.

If there is one player I respect in Madrid, it has to be San Iker..

There is something special about the Barca "boys"!

They are not only great as footballers but also as human beings, something not that have to be hard when you earn millions of euros every year and people do everything for you.

Regarding the Madrid players some of them are also fantastic persons that deserve respect even from Cules. Iker Casillas and Raúl for example.

Remember when Pepe assaulted the Getafe player, the one who was the most mad at Pepe were Casillas. He just don't accept that kind of behaviour.

thats what i mean vj.

i wonder madrid can create world class players too why arent they focus on their youth instead like barca does ?
they just keep spending money and their youth players go to other teams "mata" and shine.they should trust their youth players more or else they will not produce another raul/iker and they will have only moneysucking mercenaries like ronaldo.

barcelona has shown again this year that its possible to use your own talents and compete for major trophies,i hope we can repeat the tremble again and more teams follow the barca example.if madrid wins cl and liga this year it will be a bad year for football........they just set a bad example for teams to follow and thats why we must crash them this year.

How can we participate in the lottery?

skanjos, about madrid youth, its just their president and his ways to buy the team.
i know a lot of RM fans who wants their youth to be brought up to the main squad, and bringing the ones that were out like Negredo, Granero, De La red, but their presidents systems just doesnt allow their youth to have a place in the first team.
i mean if someone like Negredo (who they already bought for if im not mistaken 5mil) is even considered to be expendable, than there must be something wrong about the way they develop their youth.

i love his alias of "Illusionista"

no disrespect to RM fans but they are more interested about bringing trophys home than their youth players. if barcelona wanted they could go out and sign really expensive deals like real madrid but they understand that youth players are interested in giving their all on the feild than the money they are recieving.

P.S.: lettin go of eto'o was the stupidest move ever!! we must go and destroy RM this year. (and every year for the matter). iniesta rocks! and iker is such a good person. even though i HATE real madrid, i love watching them play beacuse of cassilas and guiti.
