Asked if he would be willing to join Barcelona (read more here), Almería forward Alvaro Negredo (23) has said in an interview with Spanish online newspaper Diario Siglo XXI that he doesn't exclude the option:
"I'm not closing the door for anything. Barça is a big club and football players want to play at the best teams and Barça is one of them... Can they be stopped? Yes... but not at this moment (laughs). It's clear that the way they are playing is incredible. They have the treble within reach.
I don't know where I will play next season. Real Madrid has an option to buy me back, although I don't know if they will use it. I also will have to look at the different options. If Madrid wants me back just to use me in another transfer deal, it should also be in my interests. I can only say that I have three games left this season and no better way to end my stay here than winning three times."

...Negredo not excluding joining Barcelona...just stay away freak...don't need more benchwarmers anymore...got enough with gudjohnsen,hleb and caceres...what does this clown thinks he is...please don't make us unhappy by considering transfers like this...
young powerful striker good in the air....i'll take him
Negredo is a great player. I would welcome him at Barca, he has something to offer. He is very strong and would make us more dangerous in air. And an angry ex Real Madrid player at Barca can be good...remember on Luis Enrique :).
@Fan, Eto'O? :)
Yet, till the moment it still sound like enhancing his negotiation position with Real Madrid, his first option for sure.
Lets see...
It's beleived that Florentino wants to have more Spaniards in Madrid next yaar. He would want to buy back players like Negredo and Granero and Villa, Silva, Xabi Alonso and Cesc would be high on his wish list.
Don't know about buying players back. Soldado was also a flop and De la Red wasn't doing very well before he collapsed. Any news on him, by the way? Will he be able to play again?
@fcbee, the last update from the Theoffside Real page:
he looks to return to action after fainting back in October. A body of tests have been run to determine the source of the episode, and he has been kept out of the game all year as a precautionary measure until the tests are conclusively in his favor. It is in everyone’s best interest that we avoid another Antonio Puerta situation, may he rest in peace.
He has one more series of tests that should determine if their is a genetic heart problem, but otherwise the other tests, which were primarily cardiac tests. Carlos Diez, Director of Real Madrid’s Medical Services, along with a panel of experts from around the world examined Ruben’s test results which were started December 3rd. The verdict was: “The player fainted due to efforts that had a probable cardiological origin.” So now the genetic tests become the primary focus, and if those come out with no serious concerns, Ruben will be cleared to play next season.
...have to say,that i'm very not impressed by this player...another dani,dani güiza,alfonso,jose mari or javi moreno...to me,he's nothing special...my opinion...forlan,aguero,ribery,villa or silva...players like this should be followed...when you play again at three competitions,you need someone you can count on...but negredo?...i'm not sure...i'm even not atisfied with etoo too...scored 28 goals til now,but,i follow every game and i ask myself when he scored them...see him too often wasting his chances to score...in cl i don't remember goals of him...like him,but maybe it's time to bring new blood in...
...i meant satisfied above...
campeoones campeones ole ole olee=D
No no no no no...he's a real madrid player...stay away...
