[Crosas] Rangers-Celtic Glasgow

Celtic Glasgow played yesterday their 35th league game of the season. The Scottish champions were defeated 1-0 by city rivals Rangers and lost the top spot.

Former Barcelona midfielder Marc Crosas started the match and played the whole ninety minutes.



Marc Crosas joined Celtic Glasgow in 2008. Since Barcelona can buy Crosas back in the summer of 2010 for two million euro (read more here), this blog will follow the performances of the midfielder over those two years.

I watched a bit of this game. Crosas was polished in distribution but he has to do more as a DM.

The challenges he makes are something like sticking a leg out after the ball has already passed, i.e he doesn't serious about trying to win the ball. He has to add a bit more steel to his game, make himself more of a threat to really stand a chance of getting into a top team.

While initially I wanted Barça to bring him back sooner, I now think it would good for him to stay at Celtic till 2010. After that I think he might a good option for us. Might turn out to be better than Busquets.

played like someone who'd won a competition to play in celtics midfield. absolutely gutless. and in an old firm game that is unforgivable. league is over.
